A Letter from Trina

“The first thing I want you to know is that I am deeply humbled and honored that God would choose to use my life to help bring His vision for the women of this city to life. I do not consider myself the founder of Women of Good Work. Jesus is the Founder. I am simply a willing and grateful vessel.

First and foremost, I am a devoted follower and friend of Jesus. He has transformed my life in countless ways, and I am eternally grateful for His faithfulness. He has blessed me with an incredible husband of more than 30 years, four amazing children, and granddaughter. Our family has been part of the Dublin community for over three decades, surrounded by the love and support of wonderful friends and family.

Like many women, I have spent my life balancing both work and home. Even while raising our four children, I maintained a career. It wasn’t always easy. Some days, just getting everyone out of bed, dressed, fed, lunches packed, backpacks ready, and onto the bus felt like a full day’s work before the workday had even begun. Then it was off to the office, home to make dinner, navigate homework and bedtime routines, and wake up to do it all again.

I still find myself asking, “How did I do it?”

The answer is simple… God.

He was my strength, my guide, and my constant companion, even in seasons when I didn’t fully recognize His hand. And yet, despite the chaos, those years were filled with joy, purpose, and blessings beyond measure. In fact, I would gladly do it all over again.

Professionally, my career has been rooted in sales, primarily within the building construction industry. But in 2016, God began writing a chapter I never expected. He called me into leadership.

What I thought was simply a career change was actually His way of preparing me. He was stretching me, teaching me, and shaping me into the servant leader He knew I would one day need to become. He was inviting me to be bold and unapologetic about my faith, to acknowledge Him in every aspect of my work, to share the love of Jesus with others, to begin a workplace Bible study, and to lead with humility and grace.

Looking back, I can clearly see that He was preparing the path long before I could see where it would lead.

In 2021, God began a stirring in me and placed a vision on my heart for Women of Good Work—a desire to see women across every sphere of vocation living out their faith with courage and purpose. Women in business, healthcare, education, government, the arts, and every other profession, united as the Body of Christ. Women who encourage one another, grow spiritually together, and become a powerful force for Kingdom impact in their workplaces, communities, and our city.

My prayer is that Women of Good Work becomes a place where women discover they are not alone. A place where they are equipped, encouraged, and inspired to faithfully walk in the good works God has prepared for them.

So, I invite you to join us.

Let’s unite. Let’s lean into the unique calling God has placed on each of our lives. Let’s encourage one another to live boldly for Christ in the places He has planted us. And together, let’s reap the harvest that awaits as we faithfully serve His Kingdom.”

A Letter from Renee

"Not a day goes by that I’m not in awe of how my Heavenly Father works His good plan into every aspect of our lives. The journey of Women of Good Work is no different. It’s an honor and privilege that Jesus chose me to join this mission alongside my dear friend, Trina, to help bring to life the vision He placed on her heart.

I’ve been blessed with an amazing husband for over 20 years, two incredible children, and a grandson. We live in the Dublin area, and I love connecting with others through conversations about Jesus, entrepreneurship, and creating spaces where people feel seen and encouraged.

But who am I, really?

At my core, I am the beloved daughter of the Most High King.

With Christ Jesus as my Savior, no work I do, or roles I perform, or people I please can ever dictate who I am. I’m deeply grateful for the freedom I’ve found through His love.

But it wasn’t always this way.

After graduating from college with a degree in Psychology, I was highly ambitious and looked forward to establishing my future career. God had other plans, and instead, I became a stay-at-home mom. While it was truly a blessing to raise our children, I struggled to find meaning and purpose in the daily work of managing the household. I often felt underappreciated, undervalued, and invisible.

But God saw me. He graciously began teaching me who I am, and Whose I am.

What I thought was a season of pouring into my family was also a season of preparation.

Looking back now, I can see that none of it was wasted.

The Lord is so faithful! The degree I once questioned the need for became part of the foundation for my coaching work. The lessons He taught me while raising our children helped refine me and continue to shape how I pour into others. Along the way, He opened doors I never expected—like leading mastermind groups, organizing community events for women, publishing a book, speaking on stages, mentoring women, co-running a real estate business with my husband, and working with a Christian university providing leadership development and ministering to their female students.

My life has not unfolded the way I planned it—and I’m grateful for that.

God’s plans are always greater than ours. He invites us to seek Him first, trust Him, and receive the daily provision He faithfully gives.

This leads me to my prayer for Women of Good Work:

That we would come together in the unity of Jesus, pointing one another to the One who truly meets every need. That we would remember we are His masterpiece and trust Him to continue the good work He has already prepared for each of us.
